I'm glad you've stumbled upon my page. If you happened to give my home page a cursory overlook, you probably indulged in some high-level facts about me. I'm a soon-to-be graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a dual degree in Economics and Communication and a minor in Professional Writing (with a Multimedia emphasis).
My focus is in product marketing. I am set to work in the biotechnology industry following graduation, for one of the world's largest multinational companies, Amgen. I was accepted into a three year rotational program, in which I will be completing three rotations in various functions over the next couple of years. Other than product marketing, I dabble in graphic design, which has been a consistent hobby of mine ever since I started self-learning the Adobe series on YouTube in my early years of high school. Print designs are my forte; I work mostly on flyers, infographics, posters, banners, and more.
I love traveling, more than anything. Since my very first flight at 8 months old, I've been a world travel enthusiast. Being in an environment where the language, cuisine, traffic laws, fashion, and architecture are completely different from my own has strongly influenced my perspective on the world. I've adopted an adventurous outlook on life, full of meeting new people, taking calculated risks sometimes, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone, constantly. I try to align my everyday activity with these values, and am now a strong believer in the catch-all phrase, 'we live and learn.'
Looking into the near and far future, I aspire to end up in New York City for at least a good chunk of my 20s. I've always been a fan of huge cities, the rush and the rude people (ha!), and I'm excited for the opportunity to metamorphosize into an urban dweller. Grad school is a must-do for me; I hope to end up on the East Coast business school and complete my degree to obtain an MBA. That won't be for a while, though, as I'm very grateful to be working full-time right out of graduation. I'll be participating in corporate America for a few more years before I (hopefully) write to you all from the Big Apple.
